Good morning to our hard-reading, hard-raising Archway Lincoln families! What a tremendous night we had, raising over $1,600 in 24 hours. We have only THREE DAYS LEFT until the end of our Read-a-Thon, but if we can have three more nights like last night, we will meet our goal!
School leader boards currently have Sofia Barrie in 1st place with $580 raised. Nicholas Barrie is in 2nd place with $575. Kieran and Kaleb Garcia have both raised $550 and are tied for 3rd, so it’s possible we will have a very close finish for first place and the Kindle Fire!
Remember that as far as incentives go, the cutoff is Friday at midnight. Of course, we will still accept donations into the weekend, but they will not count towards the book basket raffle, Kindle fire, or fun days we have planned.
Speaking of fun days, mark your calendars for Friday, November 18th for the Student/Teacher kickball game. Parents can come watch their children play, then share a picnic lunch on the field. Be sure to bring blankets and chairs, too. All children who participate in the game MUST pack a lunch. No hot lunch will be provided.
Our first incentive is planned for Friday, November 4th — Crazy Sock Day! If your child has raised $25 or has two sponsors, they can participate.
All students will receive “invitations” to participate in each incentive, so don’t worry if you’re not sure. Check your child’s folder starting next week to see which incentives they qualified for.
Details about the incentives, including the dates, are on the Read-a-Thon page.
Email Archway Lincoln PSO if you have any questions.
Keep reading and keep raising!
