Good afternoon, Archway Lincoln families! We have two brief announcements…an update on the Read-A-Thon and some information about our upcoming PSO meeting this Wednesday, December 2nd.
We’re doing great with the Read-A-Thon! So far, your child has helped raise over $6,490 for the library and classroom! We’re a little bit shy of our halfway goal of $7,500.
If you haven’t yet helped your child send out invitations to potential sponsors, please do so. Remember, too, that any money your child raises qualifies them for fun incentives, including Wear-Jeans-to-School day, Crazy Hair day, and the Student/Teacher Kickball Game. They also have a chance to win a new Kindle Fire!
If you need help getting your child logged on or need their login name and password, please email Archway Lincoln PSO.

PSO General Meeting
Archway Lincoln’s general PSO meeting will be held on Wednesday, December 4th at 8:15 a.m., right after drop-off. There will be two special guests. Carrie Amador, a parent at Lincoln, will talk about Tourette’s Syndrome Awareness. Carrie has lived with Tourette’s and both of her children have it. She will explain Tourette’s, debunk its myths, and teach parents how to “ignore the tics, not the child.”
Additionally, Dr. Mitchell, our new headmaster, will also speak and answer questions from parents.
Please arrive at the front office and check in. You will be directed to the meeting’s location. We look forward to seeing you! If you have any questions, please email Archway Lincoln PSO.
